Pre-departure teleconsultation becomes standard
Every patient now speaks with the surgeon who will operate before booking a flight.
From this month, every treatment pathway includes a teleconsultation with the practitioner who will perform the procedure.
This conversation confirms the surgical indication, clarifies the expected length of hospital stay and answers questions from the patient and their family before any financial commitment to travel.
The consultation is held in French or English, with an interpreter where needed.
