Medical visa for India: the documents to prepare
Invitation letter, proof of funds, valid passport: an overview of the documents required and the observed processing times.
The Indian medical visa is issued on presentation of an invitation letter from the hospital, a passport valid for at least six months and proof of financial coverage.
A companion can obtain a "medical attendant" visa linked to the patient file. A maximum of two companions is generally accepted.
Processing times vary by consulate. We recommend submitting the application three weeks before the intended date of the procedure. Our administrative team checks every document before submission.
